We start by laying out bulkhead positions on the "strongback". The bulkheads are lofted and cut out, then placed into position.

The second, sixth and eight bulkheads in the picture are made of construction wafer board, and will be removed prior to rolling the boat over.

Randy is inside putting wire through pre drilled holes as Ed tightens them. Tim and Jim are aft holding the panel raising and lowering as necessary to keep the joint tight where Randy and Ed are stitching.

After all the 1/2" panels are fit and tabbed in place, the hull can be sanded and faired. Two layers of 1/4" plywood are epoxied to the bottom, and 1 layer of 1/4" and 1 layer of 1/8" plywood are epoxied to the sides.

The rollover process begins....

After the hull is epoxy sealed, primed and bottom painted, she is rolled over.
